“Interview Introduction and some general tips”

Honorable chair and distinguish panelist,

Good morning to you all.

To introduce myself, my name is Tenzin Rabgay and I’m from Autsho under Tshenkhar Gewog, Lhuentse Dzongkhag. I have one younger sister and we are brought up by a single mother, and my mother is an enthusiastic farmer.

I graduated from the College of Language and Culture Studies with Bachelor's degree in Bhutanese and Himalayan Studies in 2020 and completed high school at Lhuentse Higher Secondary School.

During my school days, I participate in co-curriculum such as quizzes, debates, arts, and sports activities. I received an award of GNH student for upholding the GNH values in daily school life. Which is the highest award in my high school.

Similarly, while in college, I participated in many co-curriculum activities. Became an active member of college clubs and social service units such as Dangsel Media, Kadrin Visual, and Chithun Phendey Tshogpa and volunteered in many social works. Being a member and participating in such activities, besides enhancing my knowledge and self-confidence, helps in inculcating core human values like empathy and sensibility.

Reading books and doing research is my hobby, also like photography and graphic design. For that matter, I have a personal blog to post my write-ups and an official Facebook page for photography and designing.

To share some of my strengths and weakness, I am optimistic and people define me as supportive and friendly. So, I take this as my strength and my weakness is I am a multitasking person and detail-oriented, which makes my progress a little slower.

Thank You.
